This Cookie Policy explains how Hypzor uses cookies and similar browser storage on hypzor.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember a setting without using a traditional cookie. Some are necessary for a site to work; others measure use or support advertising.
Essential storage used by Hypzor
hypzor_cookie_consent records whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. It is a first-party cookie kept for 180 days so we can respect your choice.
hypzor-lang is local browser storage that remembers your selected language. It remains until you clear site data or change the setting.
hypzor_session is used only for authorised Publisher users to remain signed in securely. It is not used to track ordinary readers and expires after seven days.
These functions do not require consent because they are necessary to remember a choice, provide a requested setting or secure an authorised account.
Analytics cookies
If you select Accept, Hypzor may load Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the publication. Google Analytics commonly uses the first-party cookies _ga to distinguish users and _ga_<container-id> to maintain session state. Their default lifetime is up to two years, although browser limits or our configuration may shorten it.
Accepting optional analytics helps us understand which stories readers value, improve the website and support the work behind the publication. It does not itself create a purchase or affiliate commission.
Analytics does not load through Hypzor’s standard implementation before consent. If you reject optional cookies, the site remains available and these analytics cookies are not set by Hypzor.
Advertising, affiliate links and external content
Hypzor may contain affiliate links. Clicking one can take you to a retailer or network that uses its own cookies or tracking under its own policy. Hypzor does not place an affiliate cookie on your device merely because you read an article.
Advertising cookies are not currently active on Hypzor. Before cookie-based advertising is introduced, we will update this policy and the consent controls where required.
Articles may link to or embed content from services such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or X. Opening or interacting with third-party content may allow that service to process technical data or use its own storage. Their privacy and cookie policies apply.
Managing your choice
You can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner. You can revisit your choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking from Hypzor, but it does not automatically remove cookies already stored; you can delete those through your browser settings.
Blocking all cookies or clearing local storage may remove saved preferences. Core articles should remain readable.
